Network Design and Architecture Expert required for a leading international MSP. We are looking for an experienced network architect with a strong background in Cisco ISE design and deployment, as well as expertise in managing and optimising POP backbones. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience with Juniper technologies, including Junos OS Switches and Routers, Juniper SDWAN solutions, and advanced knowledge of Juniper MIST wireless technology, along with proficiency in the MIST AI platform. This role offers the opportunity to design network solutions, create technical documentation, and lead upskilling initiatives within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise POP backbone architecture to ensure scalable and reliable network performance.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to ensure that network designs meet business needs and security standards.
• Design and implement network architecture solutions, focusing on Cisco ISE and Juniper OEM technologies, including SDWAN, MIST, and Junos LAN.
• Create and maintain HLDs and LLDs for network solutions.
• Continuously assess and refine network solutions to align with evolving business requirements and technological advancements.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ISE, Juniper SDWAN, LAN, and WLAN to maintain network security and performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including design diagrams and troubleshooting guides.

Skills:

• Strong experience in Cisco ISE design and deployment, including policy enforcement and secure access control.
• Juniper OEM technologies, including Junos OS Switches, Routers, and SDWAN solutions.
• Juniper MIST wireless technology and the MIST AI platform.
• Hands-on experience in managing and optimising POP backbones for enhanced network performance.
• Multi-protocol routing (EIGRP, BGP4, OSPF) and WAN management.
• Familiarity with multi-vendor hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto), including firewalls, routers, and wireless LAN controllers.
• Experience developing technical design documents, including HLDs and LLDs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members in relevant technologies.

Certifications:

• Juniper: JNCIE, JNCIP, JNCIS (or equivalent Juniper certifications).
• Cisco ISE or related network certifications are highly desirable.
