Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer who has excellent remote troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose software and hardware faults, whilst supporting customers and Field Engineers remotely is required for a busy Help Desk with well-established and leading digital print solution and telecoms provider based in Hertford, Hertfordshire.

SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) +Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer (known within the business as a Remote Customer Support Engineer) who has excellent remote troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose software and hardware faults.

Working as the Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer you will join the company’s Help Desk Team, assisting customers and Engineers remotely.

As the Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for resolving issues in a timely fashion whilst providing a high level of service to clients.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer include:

  • Diagnose hardware faults and where applicable send out customer fit parts
  • Diagnose and rectify printing and scanning issues
  • Set up devices on remote monitoring solutions
  • Remotely assist engineers while on site
  • Ensure the field team has all the relevant information for the specified fault
  • Assist with warranty processes
  • Support the planning team with technical queries

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong technical knowledge across all manufacturers
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hardware faults and networking
  • Proficient with team viewer and remote tools
  • Experience with vantage online
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of our remote monitoring solutions
