MFK Recruitment are lucky enough to be working with a major regional law firm who are nowseeking an experienced and highly motivated Trusts Lawyer to lead and manage its Trusts department, driving growth, excellence, and client satisfaction.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a senior professional to take a leadership role in a well-established, forward-thinking law firm.

What is the role?

  • Oversee the establishment, administration, and termination of complex trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, providing bespoke advice on trust formation, asset protection, tax planning, and succession planning.

  • Developing a high-performing team of skilled professionals, while ensuring they are backed by streamlined processes and advanced technology, to deliver exceptional client service in a consistent, efficient, and profitable manner

  • Reviewing existing trusts to ensure they continue to meet the client’s goals and comply with evolving legal and tax regulations

  • Financial Management, Risk & Compliance: Meeting defined financial goals and key performance indicators, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and effectively managing associated risks

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in Trusts Law, covering all types of trusts

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

  • 5+ years PQE

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
