About the Role
As the council’s dedicated Planning Lawyer, you will:
- Deliver expert legal advice on complex planning matters, including Section 106 agreements, enforcement actions, and public inquiries.

- Advise and guide elected members and officers, with a key role in Planning Committees.

About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A qualification as a solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with a valid practising certificate.
- Extensive knowledge of planning law, including experience with Section 106 agreements and enforcement actions.
- Confidence and clarity in advising elected members and officers and managing Planning Committees.
