Job Type: Full-time, permanent position

This global manufacturer seeks an experienced and knowledgeable EHS and Quality Executive to join the senior leadership team. Offered with a salary of £42,000 plus a range of exceptional employee benefits, this career opportunity requires you to work on a full-time, permanent basis. Your key objectives will include the management of all site compliance, Health and Safety, Quality, and Risk.  Although not exhaustive, your responsibilities will entail leading the EHS program and culture through a proactive continuous improvement strategy. A fully inclusive, hands-on role that provides expertise and guidance to the wider business, implementing quality management systems, and conducting inspections and risk assessments, whilst collaborating with all departments and business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS and Quality management systems in compliance with relevant NEBOSH regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS and quality policies.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide training and support to employees on EHS and quality matters.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and present reports on EHS and quality performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certification is desirable
  • Proven experience in EHS and quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of relevant EHS/Quality and H&S regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
