Job Description:
The Conveyancing Paralegal is responsible for assisting with landlord and tenant matters, conveyancing, and property management agreement negotiations.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Handling conveyancing processes, including preparing and reviewing contracts, managing property transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Completing property management agreement negotiations.
- Managing a high volume of administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, preparing documentation, and managing deadlines.
- Acting as a liaison between the legal team, other departments, and clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Conducting legal research and providing updates on relevant property law developments.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed with a high level of diligence and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Using the Land Registry to obtain legal title documents and to be able to investigate the title.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant field, ideally within conveyancing, landlord and tenant law or property management.
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- High level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
