Senior Design Engineer Location: Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire/Enfield/Harlow - Commutable from surrounding areas Salary: 拢45,000 | Full-Time, On-Site A well-established engineering company is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-precision engineering projects, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities: 路Lead the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies. 路Utilise SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software) for 3D modelling and 2D manufacturing drawings. 路Solve complex engineering challenges with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 路Manage projects efficiently, working to deadlines with self-motivation. 路Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. 路Present technical information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders. 路Mentor and support junior engineers within the department. Skills & Experience Required: 路Strong technical knowledge of design engineering and manufacturing processes. 路Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design (SolidWorks preferred). 路Excellent time management, organisation, and teamwork skills. Qualifications: 路Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering (Bachelor's/Master's level) OR Chartered Engineer status (IMechE or equivalent) OR equivalent industry experience. 路Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant design role.
