A highly successful business in the Engineering and Construction sector is looking for a HR Business Partner to offer extensive support in all aspects of HR, focusing on succession & talent, learning & development, coaching and delivering the people plan within your region. Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including hybrid working, company car/car allowance, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, health insurance, private medical insurance, a gym membership plus much more! As HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing/supporting approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives
  • Working with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.
  • Implementing the people plan.
  • Coaching Managers and individuals.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with the central HR functions.
  • Supporting the service team to manage employee relations issues when required.
  • Taking an active role in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment.
  • Undertaking and leading HR project work as identified
  • Working closely with the L&D team to provide support in the co-ordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.
  • Working with the L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored and reported.
  • Meeting regularly with the Head of People to ensure the consistency and alignment of all HR processes and strategies (globally and locally).
  • Maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
We’re looking for a HR Business Partner with:
  • Previous experience in the role, or as a Senior HR Advisor.
  • Experience in the engineering, manufacturing or construction industry would be beneficial
  • The ability to build and maintain core business relationships with key stakeholders
  • Extensive senior Advisory/Partnering experience within a professional Human Resources function
  • High level of educational achievement
  • Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of employment law principles Excellent Microsoft skills; to include minimum intermediate level excel and word Fully CIPD qualified, preferably Chartered
  • You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills a flexible approach, pro-active self-starter, action orientated, resilient with a can-do attitude
