An established building services company in Hertfordshire is seeking a Maintenance Plumber for an immediate start.
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive mechanical and plumbing maintenance in a commercial building, with a pay rate of £23 per hour.
Candidates must have a City & Guilds/NVQ qualification in Mechanical and Plumbing and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
The position is temporary for 2 months, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and parking available on site.
Applicants should possess multi-skilled capabilities, good communication skills, and essential knowledge in areas such as water treatment and pumps.

Maintenance Plumber FM Service Provider - Hertfordshire - Immediate Start

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based inHertfordshire. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for anMaintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial building near Hertfordshire. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Requirements

City & Guilds / NVQ
NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
Multi-skilled
Good communication skills
Excellent customer skills

Mechanical duties:

Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
AHUs/FCUs filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
Pumps PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
Motors PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
Water treatment dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
Water pressurization units
Chlorifiers annual inspection, descaling
Steam Plant
Condensers, Condenser Returns
Cooling towers
Softeners
Humidifiers
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Boilers re-sets
Chillers re-sets, 1st Line faults
