Salary / Benefits £24k - £30k + Training + BenefitsA continuously growing Asbestos Consultancy based in the South East of England are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard working Asbestos Lab Analyst. You will be joining a rapidly expanding and UKAS accredited asbestos lab. The successful candidate will have experience in assisting with maintaining the companies UKAS accreditation, carrying out sample analysis using stereo microscopy and PLM, alongside calibrating equipment and completing job sheets. Consideration will be given to candidates from:, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Standon, Hoddesdon, Welwyn Garden City, Cheshunt, Epping, Hitchin, Enfield, Borehamwood, Watford, St Albans. Experience & Qualifications: " Holding the BOHS P401 is essential to the role. " Will have extensive hands-on experience working as a Lab Analyst within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Laboratory. " Keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills." Well versed in HSG 248 guidelines. " Good IT skills, able to keep systems up to date and filling out job sheets. The Role:" Working within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Laboratory." Labelling and safely storing asbestos samples upon arrival to the laboratory. " Logging all samples onto internal systems accurately. " Assisting in maintaining the companies UKAS accreditation. " Preparing samples for analysis. " Carrying out bulk asbestos analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy. " Completing job sheets upon completion of analysis. " Calibrating equipment to ensure accurate results. " Ensuring the laboratory is always kept tidy. " Undertaking sample analysis in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
