We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Hertford. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting young people, ensuring their well-being, and fostering a positive and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and pastoral support to students across the school.
  • Act as a point of contact for students experiencing personal, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Work with students and staff to ensure positive behavior and school engagement.
  • Support attendance initiatives and work closely with students and families to improve attendance where needed.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of interventions that promote well-being and mental health.
