We are looking for a Service Development Manager, we pay £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits. including personal wellbeing support, paid birthdays off and shopping discounts with the Blue Light Card.

Job Description

You will work towards sustainable stabilisation of operational practice ensuring we are meeting with our strategic aims and objectives working in collaboration with the Area Manager, Service Manager, and Senior Team.
  
  • Liaise with Commissioners and Local Authorities regarding need in area.
  • Bids on DPS portals for new Service User referrals from local authorities.
  • Involved in Market Events, Commissioning and Tendering of services (alongside Project manager).
  • Liaise with Developers, Estate Agents etcetera to source suitable properties.
  • Liaise with Social Workers and Local Brokerage (Care Placement Teams)
  • Oversee new Service User process from receiving referral, assessment, putting together support package, viewing vacant flats, securing funding, arranging move/transition process.
  • Involvement in Service User Care Reviews.
  • Supporting Service Managers and Area Managers with Service User significant incidents and changes of need.
  • Supporting Finance Team with any queries of care fee invoices.
  • Liaising with Housing Associations to set up new clients and start Housing Benefit application process.
  • Identify specific training needs relating to new Service User admission and liaising with Area Managers and Training Department to source.
  • Inform Registered manager on clients who require personal care for an assessment to be carried out.
  • Provide new placement support breakdown and support hours documentation to the site prior to the Service User moving in, briefing and full handover of new Service User to the staff team and management prior to the Service User moving in.
  • Work in collaboration with other members of the wider operational team and executive along with open lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders
