Retail Sales Assistant

Our busy online retailer requires a confident Senior Retail Sales Assistant employee to join their friendly team. This is a full-time permanent position working for a prestigious retail shop based in Hertford.

Candidates must be used to dealing with the public and have strong retail experience. You will be answering calls from customers taking orders, processing payments and dealing with any issues our customers may have. Direct dealings with various suppliers. Serving Customers in their busy Showroom and you will be expected to engage in other areas of the business to help colleagues when needed. Candidates will also be dealing with all aspects of administration.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and to be part of a motivated and energetic team. The working hours are 9:30 am - 5:30 pm (Monday - Friday). Our client offers a generous salary of £28,000, plus free parking and generous staff discount.

Candidates must have their own mode of transport due to our clients location.

Skills required:-

· Previous experience in retail/sales essential

· Candidates must have strong experience of dealing with the public ideally face to face and over the telephone

· Sales order processing experience desirable, but not essential as training will be provided

· High level of Customer service skills expected

· Professional, enthusiastic and friendly approach

· Team player

· Excellent telephone manner

· Good computer knowledge

· Reliable, punctual and have a "can do" attitude

Previous retail experience and admin skills is a must.
