An independent agricultural specialist business near Hertford is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator.
The position offers a salary of up to £18 per hour, depending on experience, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4.30pm and no weekends.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of welding experience and be capable of reading technical drawings and working from scratch.
Responsibilities include repairs, servicing, and maintenance of plant and machinery in agricultural and construction sectors.
A full UK driver's license and experience in pipe welding/fitting are essential, along with basic math and design skills.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator:

Responsible for the repairs, servicing and maintenance of plant and machinery involved in our agricultural, construction and ground care sectors
Responsible for the service and maintenance of on-site biomass boilers
Responsible for the service and maintenance of on-site continuous grain drying and handling system
Fabrication of parts/components as necessary
Responsible for carrying out the associated paperwork involved in maintaining safe working fleet

Essential Requirements:

Full UK Drivers Licence
Welding experience: 2 years
Experience of pipe welding/fitting
Basic math and design skills
The ability to read and understand engineering diagrams and technical drawings.
Live within a commutable distance of Diss
