We are working with a highly respected UK-based manufacturing company to find a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician. This Hull-based role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and ensuring that all materials meet stringent compliance standards. The position involves collaborating across departments to provide valuable feedback to senior management on product specifications, process monitoring, and overall quality performance.  As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, verifying the quality of products, and ensuring adherence to both internal and industry regulations. This role is essential for driving continuous improvements in quality standards and helping to resolve any issues that arise. Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Verify product quality against purchase orders and customer expectations.
  • Investigate non-conforming products, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.
  • Perform density checks on fire-resistant materials to confirm compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage and maintain technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle customer returns by investigating quality issues and providing solutions.
  • Oversee the calibration of measuring equipment to ensure consistent and reliable results.
 The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Proven experience in quality control, assurance, or compliance roles within a manufacturing or materials environment.
  • Understanding of material properties, industry standards, and quality control practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
 Salary & Benefits:
  • £30,000 to £33,000 per annum.
  • 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, Day Shift
  • 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays
