- Provide technical leadership in the design and analysis of structures, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and other relevant standards.
- Manage project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for a variety of building types.
- Review and approve designs, providing guidance to junior staff and technicians.
- Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and risk evaluations for new and existing structures.
- Represent the company in client meetings, project briefings, and on-site discussions.
- Engage in value engineering and sustainability initiatives to optimize designs.
- Support business development by preparing technical proposals and contributing to client pitches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, structural analysis, and design
- Familiarity with health and safety standards, including CDM Regulations.
- Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer status (CEng).
- Experience leading and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality results.
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including report writing.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
