A family-run logistics business in Hessle, established for over 100 years, is seeking experienced external Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for their busy depot.
The role requires loading and unloading various package types, including hazardous materials, on shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00.
Candidates must have a current Counterbalance forklift truck license and prior experience in a busy logistics environment, with experience in handling hazardous materials being advantageous.
The position offers a competitive salary and benefits including onsite free parking, a discretionary bonus, and 28 days of annual leave, increasing after three years of service.

A family run logistics business established over 100 years, based in Hessle, is currently recruiting for an experiencedexternal Counterbalance Forklift Driver/s to work in the yard at our busy Hessle Depot on 06:00 14:00 / 14:00 22:00 hoursshift.

The role involves the safe loading and unloading of a variety of package types, including hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

Loading/unloading of articulated vehicles including curtain sided vehicles

Strapping & securing of loads for transit

Working within a Groupage environment

Experience of working with hazardous material

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Counterbalance forklift truck licence (current)

Tug Shunter experience (desirable)

Previous experience of working in a busy logistics environment

Good level of literacy and numeracy

Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
