We are recruiting for a forward-thinking insurance business who have sites in Hull and Malton and are currently looking to increase its headcount within this key department looking after its Commercial business clients as a Customer Adviser.

What the Insurance Customer Advisor job involves

  • Speaking to new and existing customers over the telephone and via email
  • Processing and administration of all insurance policies within the department.
  • Dealing with new insurance business administration, renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, queries, premium financing arrangements, and any possible broking risks to insurers.
  • Collecting payments in line with the Company and client expectations.
  • Working on behalf of the client and liaising with Insurers as appropriate, keeping the client informed and updated at all stages

Skills required

  • Previous experience or working within Insurance is essential
  • Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
  • Fully computer literate with MS Office
  • Able to learn new systems and processes

Other information

  • Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00
  • Hybrid working available after initial probation and training
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Additional annual leave is given over Christmas and New Year
  • Healthcare scheme and a death in service policy
