- Work with fabricators to ensure compliance with quality, engineering drawings, and welding conformance.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing on components, assemblies, and large-scale projects.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and welding symbols.
- Assist in the creation and improvement of QA/QC documentation, including control plans, checklists, and test procedures.
- Collaborate with relevant teams and stakeholders to promptly address quality concerns and implement solutions.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to welding and fabrication standards.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and oversee corrective action implementation.
- Assist in internal and external audits, compiling reports and making recommendations for improvement.
- Provide expertise on welding procedures, material selection, and repair methods.
- Knowledge of ASME.
- Strong understanding of fabrication.
- Experience in welding procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret welding symbols.
- Experience providing leadership and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams across different locations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial.
- Flexibility for UK and international travel.
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
