This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with fabricators and suppliers to ensure the highest quality standards in quality assurance processes across a variety of operations.As a Junior QA Inspector, you will be responsible for managing quality assurance procedures, conducting detailed inspections, and collaborating closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in corrective action initiatives and root-cause analysis to enhance quality standards across the supply chain.This is a permanent position with UK-wide and international travel requirements, offering flexibility and variety in the work environment.This role is ideal for professionals within the manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, oil & gas, and industrial fabrication sectors, particularly those with expertise in welding procedures, fabrication standards, and compliance auditing. Key Responsibilities:

Work with fabricators to ensure compliance with quality, engineering drawings, and welding conformance.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing on components, assemblies, and large-scale projects.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and welding symbols.
Assist in the creation and improvement of QA/QC documentation, including control plans, checklists, and test procedures.
Collaborate with relevant teams and stakeholders to promptly address quality concerns and implement solutions.
Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to welding and fabrication standards.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and oversee corrective action implementation.
Assist in internal and external audits, compiling reports and making recommendations for improvement.
Provide expertise on welding procedures, material selection, and repair methods.

Key Requirements:

Knowledge of ASME.
Strong understanding of fabrication.
Experience in welding procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret welding symbols.
Experience providing leadership and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams across different locations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial.
Flexibility for UK and international travel.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
