Consortium are pleased to be partnering with an international logistics provider, who are looking for a Transport Coordinator to support the team with 3rd party suppliers and drivers. Planning experience is not essential, however experience within a transport/logistics environment is crucial. About the role:
  • Ensure seamless communication internally and externally to meet delivery and loading schedules.
  • Quickly address operational issues, keeping all updates accurately recorded and relevant parties informed.
  • Manage third-party requirements to maximise financial returns, and proactively communicate operational needs to maintain efficiency.
  • Verify transit arrivals, report any issues immediately, and offer alternatives when transit times can't be met.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure all arrangements for trial loads and sensitive tasks are in place.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage all associated admin tasks accordingly
