We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our lovely team based in the Hessle area. We have various hours available and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.50 per hour.

We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.

The Support Worker Role:

We are recruiting a Support Worker to support a 10 year old boy with cerebral palsy living in his own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates via facial expressions and gestures, he is able to express his wishes and preferences to those who know him well.

The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering him to be as independent as possible.

Flexible support will be required. The package will include care during holidays and weekends

We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualized support.  Previous care experience with children is preferred. Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client.

The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.    

The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.

Driver with full UK License essential.
