The Role:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and integrating high-performance electric drive systems into a variety of customer applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement electric drivetrain solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Manage technical specifications, requirements, and project deliverables.
- Lead system development, including CAN control, battery management systems, and harness design.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Ensure compliance with UK and international regulatory requirements.
- Engage with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to drive successful project outcomes.
- Support international customer projects and system implementations.
What You'll Need:
- A degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering).
- Experience in automotive or off-road vehicle systems (hybrid or electric preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CAN protocol, system debugging, and electric drive systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time, to cost, and to quality.
- A full driving license and the ability to travel internationally when required.
