My client are a non profit organisation based in the North East. Their mission is to conserve and enhance the cultural heritage of Northumberland.

Description

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting.
  • Participate in corporate budgeting process.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance and report on variances.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.

Profile

The successful Finance Officer should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
  • Proficiency in major accounting software programs.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently when required.
