Robertson Bell is delighted to partner with a leading charity, in the search for an Interim Auditor. This crucial role will support regional subsidiary audits across Southern England during a key transition period for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial audits for the range of regional subsidiaries ensuring compliance and robust financial reporting.
  • Produce statutory accounts for regional subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with volunteer staff, offering guidance on audit processes and Unison’s custom accounting system.
  • Undertake travel across Southern England and the Midlands.

This position is for a six-month period. All travel and accommodation costs will be covered.

To be considered, you will:

  • Be a fully qualified or near-qualified auditor with a strong financial audit background.
  • Have excellent report-writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with volunteers of varying financial expertise.
  • Be adaptable and proactive, comfortable managing audits for regional subsidiaries of diverse sizes and complexities.
  • Be open to extensive travel and occasional in-office commitments in London.
