Berry Recruitment is seeking a temporary ongoing Chef for a school in Yarm, with immediate start available.
The position requires working hours from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, on an ongoing basis.
The pay rate for this role is £16.39 per hour, with weekly payments made in arrears via PAYE.
Candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS check and have Level 2 food hygiene certification, along with experience in catering.
Strong communication skills, good hygiene standards, and an organized approach are essential for this role.

Berry Recruitment Darlington Branch are currently looking for a temporary ongoing Chef for one of our schools in Yarm.

The working hours are 9am-2pm , working Monday-Friday on an ongoing basis. The role is to start immediately.

Pay rate - £16.39 per hour, paid weekly in arrears PAYE.

Your role will include -

Ordering food
Monitoring and managing supplies within a budget
Developing relationships with food suppliers
Liaising with site manager
Complying with food safety legislation

Skills and experience you will need -

Enhanced DBS check is required
Level 2 food hygiene
Excellent communication skills
Good standards of hygiene
Organised and methodical
Experience of catering
