MERJE are seeking a NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a well-established claimant-focused firm in Farringdon, London. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to manage a diverse caseload of clinical negligence cases, working with a supportive team in a growing practice.
Location: Farringdon, London (1 day per week work from home option available)
The Company
This insurance sector company, established for over 20 years, specialises in claimant litigation with a focus on Clinical Negligence, Professional Negligence, Commercial Disputes, Personal Injury, and Family Law.
The Role
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 35 established cases, both litigated and non-litigated, of varying complexity and value. This role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team and contribute to the firm's growth while developing your expertise in clinical negligence law.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Negligence Solicitor:
- Manage and progress a diverse caseload of clinical negligence cases
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and guidelines
- Contribute regular articles to the company website
- Maintain high client care standards
- Work towards personal and team billing targets
Required knowledge and experience for the Clinical Negligence Solicitor role:
- Qualified solicitor with 2-3 years PQE
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a claimant clinical negligence department
- At least 2 years' experience managing own clinical negligence caseloads
- Strong knowledge of litigation and ability to progress cases towards settlement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to empathise with clients
