My client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias for a permanent position in the Hexham area, offering an immediate start.
The salary for this role is £37,100, with an on-call allowance bringing total potential earnings up to £45,000, and possible earnings reaching £50,000.
The position requires a minimum of three years of experience in a heavy industrial background and knowledge of three-phase power systems.
The role involves designing maintenance strategies, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing equipment faults, and liaising with various departments.
Candidates must have a driving license and reside within an hour's drive from Hexham.

My client is looking for an experienced mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding team on a permanent basis in the Hexham area with an immediate start available.

Package -

* Salary is 37,100 + on call allowance = 45,000
* Potential earnings - 50,000
* Monday to Friday
* 39 hours per week
* 20 retainer when on call
* Mileage paid when on call

Responsibilities -

* Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
* Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
* Diagnose breakdown problems
* Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
* Carry out quality inspections on jobs
* Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
* Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or component
* Experience with gearboxes, motors and burning

Requirements -

* Ideally from a heavy industrial background
* Must have knowledge of three power phase
* Diving license
* Must live within an 1 hour drive from Hexham
