The Company
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to work on a permanent day shift.
The Role
- Overing seeing the day-to-day operation the production department.
- Working with other departments to ensure deadlines are met, addressing any problems that arise.
- Organising rotas of all employees within the production department.
- Ensuring all employees are trained to an excellent standard.
- Optimise production area to increase maximum daily output.
- Will be working day shift.
- Continuously identify ways to reduce costs and improve standards and efficiency in all areas.
- Attend daily review meetings to ensure fully on target to deliver.
The Person
- You will have experience in a similar role.
- Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
- Management experience gained in a fast-paced production environment dealing with large teams.
- Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to deliver strong results through a team.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop large teams with varying skill sets.
- Outstanding problem-solving ability.
- Expectational leadership skills.
- Previous experience with health and safety regulations.
