The Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to work on a permanent day shift.

The Role

  • Overing seeing the day-to-day operation the production department.
  • Working with other departments to ensure deadlines are met, addressing any problems that arise.
  • Organising rotas of all employees within the production department.
  • Ensuring all employees are trained to an excellent standard.
  • Optimise production area to increase maximum daily output.
  • Will be working day shift.
  • Continuously identify ways to reduce costs and improve standards and efficiency in all areas.
  • Attend daily review meetings to ensure fully on target to deliver.

The Person

  • You will have experience in a similar role.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Management experience gained in a fast-paced production environment dealing with large teams.
  • Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to deliver strong results through a team.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop large teams with varying skill sets.
  • Outstanding problem-solving ability.
  • Expectational leadership skills.
  • Previous experience with health and safety regulations.
