Learning Support Assistant - Northumberland

The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a secondary school based inNorthumberlandwho are searching for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team asap.

The role entails working closely with a pupil who requires support with a physical impairment to make it around the school and attend lessons.

In order to be successful in your application, you must be confident and have some experience of supporting children to achieve their learning goals within a school setting, preferably with the secondary school age group (11-18).

Requirements for this role:

• Experience working with 11-18 year olds within the past 2 years
• Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff and students.
• Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
• At least two years of work history/education which can be referenced.
• A valid DBS certificate or the willingness to apply for one.
