The Role

As a multi-skilled engineer, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation, ensuring production facilities run at peak efficiency while playing a key role in shaping the future of the engineering function. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, with a focus on reliability, process improvement, and efficiency.

What you'll get up to:

  • Maintain and optimise plant performance across multiple sites.
  • Carry out electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance.
  • Support and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and execute an effective maintenance programme.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve site performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations.
  • Manage contractors and issue permits to work.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm, 2pm -10pm and 8am - 4pm.

What do you need to have?

  • A strong engineering background, ideally within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and world-class manufacturing principles.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications.
