- Duties:
- Conduct regular patient consultations to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of illnesses and conditions.
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments, including preventive measures and lifestyle advice.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Promote health education and preventive measures within the community.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
- Provide urgent medical care for acute health issues.
- Qualifications:
- A recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- Full registration with the GMC and a license to practice in the UK.
- Successful completion of the two-year Foundation Program (F1 and F2).
- Completion of a GP specialty training program (CCT in General Practice).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication, and patient management abilities.
- Experience working in a general practice setting.
- Up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Compassion, patience, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to continuous professional development.
