PME Ltdare a well-established continuously growing 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 ISO EMS accredited Precision Engineering Company located in Heybridge, Maldon, we have been based in our current location for over 20 years, manufacturing for industries including Motor Sport, Pharmaceutical, Surveillance and Military. During this time we have extensively expanded the business over 3 units.

An opportunity has arisen to join our busyoffice team -the position requires the successful candidate to be methodical and fully computer literate, they must be able to produce spreadsheets, be conversant with Excel and Word documents and have the ability to learn internal management systems.

This position requires a good telephone manner and communication skills and would also need to be diverse when required to assist in departments relative to the admin sector.

The successful candidate will have the chance to learn many office skills, familiarise themselves with Xero accounting system and progress their career within the company.

Responsibilities of the above position includes:

  • Reception, including screening calls and taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary
  • Interacting with Directors & carrying out their requests
  • Generating customer despatch notes
  • Generating Job sheets from customer purchase orders
  • Monthly stationery inventories to ensure all stock is up to date and ordering when necessary
  • Scanning and photocopying.
  • Filing all company documents
  • Updating the company data base
  • Generating spread sheets from the data base
  • Office cover during staff holidays
