A manufacturer based in Maldon who provide fast turnaround and flexible assembly service for complex SMT boards are looking to hire a Senor Assembly Technician to join their expanding team.
We are looking for an Assembler with fantastic soldering / de-soldering skills, be able to carry out reworks and modifications of both through hole and surface mount assemblies. You will have knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 training as a minimum.
Our client are offer up to 32k salary working a 40 hour week. The company opens between 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and offer flexible working within those opening hours.
Senior Assembly Technician duties:-
- Component pre-forming
- Through hole soldering using irons
- Manual component insertion
- Minor mechanical assembly (assembling heatsinks, fixing components to the board)
- Programming selective soldering machine
- Running the soldering machine
- re-works
- Read from drawings
