Quality Inspector

Red Sky are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector in Maldon, Essex. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of world leading products in our field meeting required standards.

Familiarity with relevant component manufacturing processes and defects.

Understanding of Build Packs, manufacturing assembly processes and procedures.

Understanding of Stock and Bill of Materials on the ERP system.

A determination to ensure that the quality of outgoing product meets customer expectations

Key tasks

Goods Inwards

Checking the delivery against Goods In Sampling Rules

Quality of goods - ref      Vendor Pack

Visual inspection according to the sampling plan

Maintain visual samples library for reference.

Labelling of Goods prior to release onto shop floor.

Understand of Part Approvals & Concessions

Complete relevant documents (the goods in spread sheet)

Shop floor:

First off and final inspection of product.

Liaise with production manager on parts arriving/parts waiting for.

General:

Communicate with stakeholders to resolve the quality problem (goods in / production / parts / final products).

Qualifications & Experience

Some experience / interest in Quality Control

A careful and conscientious attitude to all tasks.
