Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? We are actively seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for a positions at a nurturing and inclusive special school catering for Primary age children. They have very small classes and each student has a designated one to one. It is situated off the A12 at the second Witham turn off so you will need to be a driver. It is 14 minites from Maldon. School hours are 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Role:

Making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities.
Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Have a sense of humor, be creative and be able to think on your feet.
