Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? We are actively seeking Ā SEN Teaching AssistantsĀ for aĀ positions at a nurturing and inclusive special school catering for Primary age children. They have very small classes and each student has a designated one to one. It is situated off the A12 at the second Witham turn off so you will need to be a driver. It is 14 minites from Maldon. School hours are 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday.Ā 

SEN Teaching Assistant - Role:

  • Making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities.
  • Supporting the development of childrenā€™s language and communication skills.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on childrenā€™s progress and achievements.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

  • Previous experience workingĀ as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Have a sense of humor, be creative and be able to think on your feet.Ā
