Axon Moore are partnering with an exciting and growing business based in Heywood, who are looking to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk into the Finance team. This team boasts some great benefits, and most importantly is an enjoyable place to work with a fantastic friendly team.This role will hold end-to-end responsibilities for the ledger from inputting invoices to preparing and making payments. Whilst working alongside the other Accounts Payable clerk, you will confidently manage the ledger.Salary: £26k - £27kLocation: HeywoodMain Duties: •            Maintaining a clean purchase ledger•            Processing supplier invoices, ensuring they reconcile with the system•            Reconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger with a high level of accuracy•            Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner•            Ensure agreed payment terms are adhered to as per agreed terms. •            Other ad-hoc accounting duties as requiredPerson Specification:•            Experience in a Purchase Ledger role•            An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential•            A strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiative•            Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed•            Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
