Sewell Wallis are working with a Transport & Distribution business on the outskirts of Heywood, Greater Manchester, who are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their team.

For this Finance Manager role, you will be a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ or PQ nearing the end of your studies, along with a strong finance business partnering and management accounts background.

It is essential that you have experience of dealing with stakeholders with the ability to liaise with non finance colleagues and teams across the business.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate production of the monthly management accounts.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders across the wider teams.
  • Supporting commercial and strategic planning with detailed financial analysis.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Developing models for acquisition opportunities.
  • Analysing revenue streams and business costs.
  • Ensuring project budgets are accurate.
  • The Finance Manager will be managing a small team.

  • Qualified / Newly qualified / PQ Accountant with experience of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Confident with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills.
