A new opportunity has arisen at a growing manufacturing company seeking to bring an experienced EHS Manager on board. This is a regional multisite role, with full autonomy and the support of a business that invests back into itself this is a brilliant opportunity for someone that is passionate about H&S in manufacturing to make a huge impact at a company.

Role Description
* Working with Senior Managers to ensure that employees remain in a safe working environment and providing advise where appropriate.
* Determine the strategic direction and work priorities (in conjunction with the management team) for the continuous improvement of the H&S processes and policies across all locations where employees are based, in accordance with the relevant legislation.
* Advise, guide, support, promote awareness and coach all personnel with the implementation of the company's policies and procedures. Complete other projects at the request of the Management
* Work with Senior Managers in driving a change in the business
* Carry out environmental, health & safety inductions for all new employees and contractors to site
* Monitor relevant environmental regulatory requirements
* Working on short- and long-term projects in the business

Skills and Qualifications
* NEBOSH National Diploma for H&S preferred (or equivalent)
* NEBOSH Environmental Diploma, Level 5 Diploma
* Experience within fmcg is highly desired.
* A positive "can do" attitude and drive to succeed
* Experience in the management of health, safety and environmental systems.
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
* Continuous Improvement experience (5S, Kaizen, 8D etc.)
