Our client in the Heywood area are looking for Maintenance Engineers on nights.

Salary: (phone number removed) Per Annum paid monthly

Shifts available: x2 4 on 4 off working nights 19.00pm-07.00am

In this role you will:

  • Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability
  • Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving
  • Approximately 20% of the time you will be working in a cold environment - approximately minus 18 degrees - just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE including coats, hats and boots
  • At times work at height using safety harness

Who we're looking for:

  • Electrically qualified NVQ level 3 or equivalent with mechanical experience
  • Experience of working with automation and PLCs
  • Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team
  • Willingness to learn and improve your skills
  • You are able to drive and travel to site
  • Ability to work at height and in a cold environment
  • Ability to work nights
