Position – Street OperativeLocation – Heywood, OL10Type – TemporarySalary – £12.59 per hour, paid weekly. About the roleWorking across various sites around Heywood, the appointed person will take pride in their working environment ensuring that all sites are kept tidy, all litter is cleared by use of manual tools and mechanical sweeper.
As well as the above the appointed person will also carry out the following duties:
- Undertake horticultural duties - using pedestrian ride on mowing machines for grass cutting as well as turf management, preparation and bedding display care/manual weeding
- Litter removal including removal of dog fouling, emptying litter and dog fouling bins
- Reporting of any obstructions/problems which prevents and work being able to be completed
- Carry out snow clearing and salting of walkways and paths, as well as cleaning of signs and benches etc.
- Plus much more
