We’re looking for an experienced Machine Operative to join a leading manufacturer at their site in the High Peak.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, performing quality inspections, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and handling materials and finished goods.
What’s on offer?
- £11.50 - £12.00 per hour
- Monday – Thursday 7:15am – 5:30pm
- 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Machine Operative?
- Operating and monitoring machinery to produce foam products
- Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet defined standards
- Packing and labelling finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Handling raw materials and storing finished good
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Assisting with machine setup and changeovers
What do you need?
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- A background in engineering is preferred
- Any experience with CNC machinery is advantageous
