Salary: MPS / UPS + 1 SEN Point (Paid to scale)

Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join a specialist education setting in High Peak (SK23) for the new academic year. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with profound learning needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs
- Set clear learning objectives and structured lessons to promote student progression
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring high expectations for all students
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Encourage positive behaviour and support students in developing independence
- Collaborate with a supportive team to provide high-quality education and care
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching, ideally in an alternative provision or SEND environment
- Knowledge of working with students with profound learning needs
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- A flexible and caring approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
