Academics Agency is offering an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision school catering to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and Autism. These students face a variety of difficulties, and we are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where they can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vital support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they feel safe, included, and encouraged in their learning experience.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans tailored to each pupil's needs.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students to foster classroom engagement and participation.
  • Promote inclusion, self-reliance, and self-esteem among the students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to maintain a productive and supportive learning environment.
