8:00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Experience

  • Proven experience in welding, particularly with MiG welding techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with operating various power tools and hand tools used in fabrication processes.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is advantageous but not essential.

Job Role: Manufacture of fabricating and welding steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications. Evaluate and interpret, sketches and other data to be used in the preparation of the product to be manufactured, conducting dimensional inspection prior to welding. Ensure work is conducted to exact tolerances. MIG welding on steel to a high standard.
