About the Role:

Sheridan Maine is recruiting for an Audit Semi Senior to join a well-established and highly regarded practice in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to progress their career in audit within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support statutory audits and independent examinations from start to finish.
  • Work on specialist audits, including solicitorsā€™ accounts rules audits and charity audits.
  • Prepare standalone and consolidated statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102 and Charity SORP.
  • Prepare non-audited accounts for clients.
  • Report directly to the Audit Manager and Partner, ensuring timely completion of assignments.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or currently studying towards qualification.
  • Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong working knowledge of CCH Audit Automation, CCH Accounts, Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud, and Microsoft Office (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and administration skills.
  • A team player with a flexible approach and strong attention to detail.
