We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Audit Senior to join our practice in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified/finalist.

Day to day of the role:

  • Prepare comprehensive Audit and Accounts files for managers, covering planning, risk identification, materiality setting, and test design.
  • Lead audit fieldwork teams, focusing on team development and a positive client experience.
  • Perform detailed audit tasks, making decisions and drawing conclusions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of audit requirements.
  • Build strong client relationships.
  • Finalise files, summarizing key audit findings for the partner's review.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with all those involved in the audit process.
  • Oversee budgetary control.
  • Collaborate with other teams.
  • Work across various client sites, as well as in the office and remotely.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or in the process of qualifying.
  • Proven audit experience, encompassing both planning and completion stages.
  • Competent in preparing accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a client-centric and commercially aware approach.
  • Proficient in using Excel, Word, and preferably CCH software.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks at once.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure with a proactive mindset.
