REED Practice are on the lookout for a Corporate Tax Senior to join our client based in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for a bright individual with excellent communication skills and a strong background in corporate tax. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and exploring opportunities for advisory services.

Day to day of the role:

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns and computations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all corporate tax-related documents.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
  • Provide support on tax advisory projects and assist with research.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and team members.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, contributing to their professional development.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of CCH software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Proactive in identifying compliance issues and opportunities for tax planning.
  • Keen interest in developing advisory skills.
