Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts, including posting accruals and prepayments, providing recommendations and decisions where necessary
* Prepare insightful management accounts and analysis to support decision-making across the business
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure accuracy
* Proactively identify process improvements and take ownership in implementing these changes
* Support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Manage and maintain accurate spreadsheets and data, supporting the wider finance team where needed
* Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary information and addressing queries as required
What You'll Bring:
* Previous experience in management accounting (ideally 1-2 years), with exposure to a fast-paced or retail environment being a bonus
* An eye for detail and a commitment to precision
* A problem-solver who thrives on finding solutions to optimise financial performance
* Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data with ease
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share insights and recommendations
