- The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end processes, and supporting Year-End close and audit responsibilities.
- Candidates should have prior experience in similar functions, preferably in a small working environment, along with AAT level 2 or 3 qualifications and strong Excel skills.
- Exposure to Xero accounting software is advantageous, and the position offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year.
- The role is primarily office-based but allows for one day of remote work each week.
Supporting the Group Financial Controller, you will be tasked with looking after the transactional functions of the business. This will include the accounts payable (including staff expenses) and receivable functions (multi-currency), assisting with the month-end process: accruals, prepayments, journals, fixed assets etc., bank and balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the Year-End close and Audit responsibilities and other ad-hoc duties as required.
It is important that you have prior experience of the above functions and within a relatively small working environment, You should have AAT level 2 or 3 qualifications and excellent Excel skills. Exposure to Xero accounting is also an advantage. You should be a diligent and focused individual. The role is mostly office based but will have the option of one day a week working from home.
