This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to play a pivotal role in the delivery of an outstanding Grammar school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

As a Science Technician (Biology Specialism), you will ensure the smooth running of the workshop and laboratory, helping to foster a stimulating and engaging learning environment that will contribute to the overall success of our students.On a day-to-day basis, you will:

* Prepare and supply apparatus and consumables for class use* Prepare and demonstrate materials/set-ups for teaching* Maintain all equipment in safe working order, conducting regular safety checks* Supervise, organise and monitor all material and equipment stores* Ensure laboratories are maintained in good orderAbout youYou will need good knowledge and an understanding of practical science, as well as strong A Levels in science (or equivalent). In addition to this, you will also possess previous experience of working in a laboratory environment, along with experience of setting up and testing experiments.
